Original California 99.5% rust free (see picture on web page) 1973 Mustang convertible for sale. 144,000 original miles (driven less than 2,000 miles in the last 10 years), Still retains it's original "Q" code 351CJ drivetrain, 4spd toploader transmission, 3:25 rear gears, power steering, power brakes, power top with glass back window, tach and gauge package, interior decor group, exterior protection group, factory air conditioning, tilt wheel with rimblow steering wheel, power windows, full center console with working clock, deluxe rear bumper. All original body panels in place. Three (including me) adult owner unmolested car with one 12 year old exterior only paint job to original color specifications (I rate it at a 8 on a 1-10 scale). All original Carlite glass is in place and yes, all of the windows work). New tires on Magnum 500 rims (spinner and stock center caps included), new radiator, new water pump, original carb rebuilt at Pony Carbs, newer dual exhaust. Motor rebuilt roughly 15,000 miles ago to stock specs. Clutch has 6,000 miles on it.Exceptionally maintained. Now the fun part, the original California doctor who owned the car fancied the car as a canyon cruiser, so he installed a set of rear disk brakes (with adjustable proportioning valve), along with heavy duty shocks and springs front and rear. Not a harsh ride, but not as mushy a ride as my original concourse 73 Mustang convertible. Car runs and drives fantastic, I put over 200 miles on it this weekend alone. Marti report on order but not in hand yet. Loss of employment forces the sale of this car. price is set at $17,500 obo. Serious inquiries only please.
