:: I'm going to attempt to breath life into my mach for the 1st time in over 5 yrs. Freshly rebuilt roller 5.0 (I know, I know) I've been working very diligently the last few months to get this together.

I just wanted to share my excitement with all of you here at the VMF. Thanks so much for the help so far and the help I'm sure I'll get in the future.

Here's how I fired up my 5.0L. Five quarts of 5w30. Used Milodon oil priming tool to prime oil pump (reverse on drill motor). Ran drill motor while checking to see oil pressure comes up. This filled the filter and primed the pump. Rechecked and topped off oil level. Rotated the engine to TDC then installed the distributor. Cranked engine which started immediately. Stopped engine after less than a minute due to fuel leak. Corrected it and restarted. If it sounds like you have severe header leak check back of heads to make sure the emissions holes are used or plugged. Run till warmed up then tune.
