New one to me...ehay has an auction up for a 200mph speedometer for a 67-68 mustang..... Item # 1854351955
Am I wrong or is that really 200Kph....? Just don't see Ford putting out anything over that 140mph the shelby's had.

Its not for the mustang. Its for the Cobras (at least that what the right up indicates) It's just the same size so it will fit the 67-8

Could be nice in the roght ride.

I've got a 200mph speedo in my '67 and I've yet to use 30% of it /forums/images/icons/laugh.gif, but I'm working on that.

I reworked one of the "RPM Overlays" with Photoshop and made my own 240mph speedo. Just for the hell of it really. If I wanted, I could send the speedo the a speedo shop and have it reworked to read true. If I chose to use it as is then a 120mph reading would actually mean I was doing 60mph. I just doubled the numbers, It came out very nicely.http://a9.cpimg.com/image/BB/CC/8958139-870f-00480048-.jpg
My current plan is to fit aftermarket guages (and a 160mph speedo). Hopefully it will come out as nicely as Jay's did.

Boy if your passengers could see the speedo, they'd go ballistic thinking you're doing 150 when you're only doing 75. Hahahhaa...

200KPH ... All I have ever read is that these were on export cars. Pretty cool though..

I have a 200mph AutoMeter speedo in my JME gauge cluster. At a gas station once, some kids came out of the store, and one of them walked over to the car and looked inside. He then yelled to the others, "It goes 200!"

That sounds like that scene in "Spinal Tap" where the guitar amp volume goes to 11!! /forums/images/icons/smile.gif
