Doing a 289 and manual trans swap on my '66 Mustang - looking for someone who wants the 6-cyl, trans and other parts. This is in Houston. Restored the vehicle originally, bought short block and rebuilt the head; the engine has about 20k miles and is in excellent shape. Some add'l details:
  • Rebuilt C4 with < 500 miles
  • Hooker headers (2-piece) with 400 miles on them
  • Weber Outlaw 38 carburetor < 500 miles
  • '68 distributor
  • Pertronix ignition and high output coil
  • Original A/C compressor bracket with Sanden compressor adapter
  • Nice Vintage Inlines valve cover
  • Original air cleaner housing
Again, only the engine has some real miles on it.

Edit: Also want to clarify I'd prefer to sell as a package, $2100 OBO. And this would include all the parts pulled to do the engine/rear swap (rear end, front end parts, 3-core brass radiator which is clean, wheels and tires (almost brand new)…

Engine, C-4, and headers are sold. I still have:
  • Wheels (tires have 500 miles on them)
  • Dual exhaust piping, with x-pipe
  • Rear end
  • Steering components (new steering box with 500 miles)
  • Front/rear suspension (20k miles, no issues)
  • Weber Outlaw 38 carb
