Well knowing that the New mustang is set to debut in 2003 as a 2004 model there are some tricks that Team Mustang is toying with.

I have heard rumors that the 2003 Cobra will incorporate some of the features in the FR500 show car and move up the performance and luxury scale a bit. There are also rumors that we will see the return of the Mach I. That's right the Mach I would be between the GT and the Cobra. It would feature the Cobra motor but a solid rear axle and more of a GT package.

Ford has had a lot of success with these 'package' cars ... the Spring Editions have done well, and we all know how strong the response to the Bullitt has been. Should be an interesting couple of years here ... though the 3.9L rumors for the next generation have me a bit worried.
