What is the value of a good running 289? My mechanic seemed to think I could get $2K for it.That sounds a little
far fetched. What do you guys(& gals) think?

Maybe 500.00 max for a D or A coder if it's good and really running at the time...

I'd get 'em to throw in the C4 for that price too...

Maybe a rebuildable hipo (K-coder) would be a good bargain at 2K...

If you can get that much for it do it. Or sell it to your mechanic for 25% off!

I just sold a very nice "A" code 289 for 650.00, tell your mechanic that you'll let him have it for a 1000.00,
so he can't make a profit on the sale.
