I've had similar issues with CJ, but as of recently I was in contact with "Rick" and he helped me immensely so I'm giving them another shot. Plus since I am ordering a lot of parts for my mustang it helps out that I can accumulate points which can go towards discounts on future purchases.

But do you know anything about this radiator working/fitting with a 351w? Or should I try to find an aluminum 3 core radiator specific for a 351w?

I'm in need of a new radiator and was curious if this 3 core aluminum radiator will work with my 351w.

First rebuild so I'm still learning how everything works!

Thanks for your time. >:)
I would use a 2 row radiator with at least 1" cooling tubes. ECP makes a nice product. Make sure to get the water pump outlet on the correct side depending on what pump you are using. 1964, 1965, 1966 Ford Mustang Aluminum Radiators

If you don't mind me asking the reasoning behind this? Like I said I'm a noob with this stuff so I'm trying to learn the "why".

I had a mild 289 with this radiator .now I have a GT40P Edelbrock performer headed B303 cammed 5.0 with it not dynoed but spec out on paper close to the Boss 302 Crate at 345 HP. The radiator listing says cools 350hp so how hot is your 351
Also FWIW I have a 16" electric puller that I only need to use while idling stop light to stop light or waiting for my next autox run. A upper hose filter is also a good idea

I would go up to at least a '67 size radiator. It requires only a slight trimming around the old opening. Other years require a bigger hole cut out. Larger capacity never hurts.
Next would be whichever water pump is on the motor now or which you want to use. Is the inlet on the passenger side or DS. Pick what works.

The issue of it fitting your 351w is more a matter of making sure you are using the correct water pump to align with the in/out of radiator. If it's not going to cause any issues with anything else, a driver side lower hose may help with cooling since it forces the water to cross the radiator.

I have used both ECP and Champion (we deal in both) and both are great radiators... either choice will be great. ECP sometimes may be out of stock as they make them in the USA... Champion is sold by many many distributors, many online (eXay, etc), so check pricing and shipping... CJ’s has grown so big they are not only having issues with staff in customer service (this week my estimated wait time for a call back was 1730 minutes... no kidding) so you may want to deal with someone in So. California since we all get them from there when we have them dropped shipped to our customers...

Hope you Excellent Results with your build
Pete
