I have called every salvage yard in my town (Terre Haute, IN) and I can not find a 351!! I have looked everywhere..... and I can't find a Windsor, or a Cleveland. At this point I will take either..... I would be happy with the block! All the yards around here say "sorry son, ain't got none!". How could a HUGE junk yard, with thousands of wrecked fords not have a 351 anywhere? Im willing to pay up to 200$ for a core... that doesn't run.... so what is the problem here?

I know where theres 4 351W's and 1 351C 4 barrel right now. One of the351W short blocks is sitting in my shop. Another W is in a pickup across the street and will go for $275 complete with new back tires. Its not running but I have a good suspicion what was wrong with it when the kid parked it. Another W that runs but is high mileage is at my friends shop and they also have another one sitting on the ground. He won't sell the Cleveland though, LOL. I watched a mid 70's Ford F150 with a 351W go into the crusher. I didn't have time to go out and grab the motor before they ground it up. I just don't understand what the problem is unless you are looking for a 69 model or something. You probably won't find one of those sitting around anywhere. Maybe you are looking at the wrong places.

It's a too bad that you're not from Northern California. I've locatd at least four 2V 351 C's in as many Pick n Pull yards right around here. Some didn't look too bad...not a one 4V though. I have a complete 2V C here but it's high milage and good for parts and cores. It would be cost prohibative to ship..at least I think it would. Complete long block at Pick n Pull cost $129 plus $50 core and tax and it's extra for a warrenty.
