The auto wrecker has a winsor 4 barrel intake with the code D1JE - 8425 - BA with a 2F20 in a different location. It is definately a 351 w but I thought that Ford only made the 4v intakes in 1969. This appears to be built in 1971?? Any ideas as would love to pick up a 4v intake for my 69 heads.

Never heard of a 71 4 barrel intake for a car . Wonder if it may possibly be for marine use?

could it be a replacement part - over the counter type??

The "J" in the code stands for Industrial usage...I am pretty sure. Maybe it was for some oddball application. Is it aluminum??

IIRC, a friend of mine bought a new early/mid 80s full size Bronco with a 351W 4V engine.

In the USA, you could only get a 351W 4V in a car in 1969. I've seen 351W and 302 iron intakes with the "D1JE" casting. I think these are industrial/marine parts. In Mexico cars were available with 351W 4Vs throughout the 70s. The only other time you could get a factory 351W 4V in the USA was in the mid 80s in trucks and vans.
