I working on my 351W block and want to put some performance inhancement parts in it. I'm pretty much working from the ground up and will put other enhancements on it, such as better heads, intake, etc. etc.

I have some TRW L2446F Forged Pistons for my block. I was wondering, will these give me much of a performance upgrade if I use my stock crankshaft? What connecting rods do you think I should use? I was looking at some 4340 "H" Beam 5.956" rods.

What do you all thinks? Any suggestions?

This is going to be a street car used a couple times a week, but I want to have good performance.

The stock crankshaft in a 351 is pretty strong, the stock 351 rods with good bolts will also take alot of power. How much power and what RPM are you thinking of?
