Hey, I'm new here and I've been enjoying all the amassed knowledge and of course the good stories too. Heres my first question, I'm swapping a 351W into a 68 Cougar, but I'm struggling with the power steering brackets and how they should be mounted. Anyone have a good picture of how they bolt up or a manual of some sort that might show it?

If you are using the brackets from your 302 they will not fit. The 351W brackets are different and unique to 351W due to the added deck hiegth and width of block. Post an ad on the want and I am sure someone has the right brackets.

Your old brackets will work, but you also need an adapter to compensate for the increased deck height. 3A732-15 from National Parts Depot is for the power steering side, and 10A336-15 is for your alternator.
