Is 4 ga. copper cable adequate for positive run from the trunk to the solenoid?

<hr></blockquote>No. At least 2-ga. Most of the kits out there use 1-ga.

You can use welding cable too. It's nice and supple.

Painless Wiring has a nice kit.
