Forgive my dumbass question, but what is the price range for a Cobra Jet? One that is rebuilt, I mean. Stock, but maybe an aftermarket cam and manifold. I am considering my options for my 70. I have a 302 now, and already have the Performer RPM heads for it (2.02 valves) I was going to go the whole 385 horse RPM setup, cam, manifold, heads, but I wonder what else would be a good option. I have a C-4 and will have a 9" rear. Suggestions, comments?
Thanks,
Dave

Remember the swap includes much more than a simple "drop the engine in", in place of the 302

If you find a Cj they normally are found in one of three conditions

1. miss matched factory and aftermarket parts
2. complete original needing a rebuidl
3. complete original with a "rebuild"

Complete CJ's is any of these conditions (from lucky to pay the piper;)

$1800-6000
