I read in a magazine article that when you go from a "carburated" engine in a vintage mustang to a fuel injected 5.0 that a 4 degree "tilt" in the mounting of the engine is necessary. Does anyone understand why that is?

I have never heard of that...
There are a lot of guys on the forum who have installed EFI and I don't remember that being brought up.

They must mean you jack up the rear with longer shackles /forums/images/icons/smile.gif
Really, I've never heard of it and didn't tilt mine....

I helped a friend do a 5.0 swap and we never did 4 degree anything...

Okay, I appreciate your replies. This was something I read in Mustang Monthly, and it didn't make any sense to me either.

Thanks again.
