Got an 89 5.0 from a lincoln town car i'm going to swap over to carb. The 2100 series autolite (motorcraft, whatever :p) it doesn't have a vaccum port for the advance at the base of the carb. it has a power valve at the bottom that i don't know how to hook up. i want to know where to hook these two items up at. i've tried ports on the side of the carb for the vac advance, i haven't tried anything for the power valve, just have it capped off right now. i'll post a pic tomorrow to let you guys (and ladies) see what i'm talking about. Anyone know?

Its been a while, but isnt there supposed to be a cover over the power valve (which connects it to vacuum)?

the vacuum advance needs a port that has vacuum only after the throttle is opened a bit
