Ive seen numerous photos and information that the coil should be placed on the passenger side on top of the intake manifold. I haven’t seen detail of which bolt is used for the coil bracket. From my engine, it looks like it can only be attached to the bolt that holds the engine tag as opposed to one of the intake manifold bolts.

Can anyone give me direction? A photo would be great.

I can help on this one... See pics..

ALL Early "F" Code 260's...Some Pre-Production cars....All the same coil mountings and location.

Thx tony. Always appreciate the great response from the forum members. Based on all of these photos (they will be helpful with other assembly as well), and my assembly manual from Osborn (invaluable) that the bracket must go into the hole for the engine tag.
