I have a chrome ball knob on my 64.5 4-speed shifter. The tranny is a Dagginham (sp?) and I assume it should have the black knob like I see in the catalogs. But it looks original, and with all the peculiarities of the 64.5, it wouldn't surprise me to find out it is correct. So what'ya think?

I am not really up on the Dagenhams but I don't think your shift ball is correct. I think it is an old aftermaket ball.

Should be the same as cars with a toploader or T-10 - an H with reverse to the left and down, in the concave portion of the ball.
