Hi guys, I need some help.

I am replacing the idler arm bush in my 64.5 with manual steering.

I have already set the bush in place exactly as the old one was removed.

Researching shows many different variations and the shop manual is not very clear.

The questions are,

Does this look right in the picture?

Does the bush need to be set centred in the arm?

Do I have the flange of the bush in the right end?

Mount it on the car, look at the centerlink and see if its sits horizontal. If not, then the idler arm sits to high or low on the bushing.

I will have a look.
I did notice that of I turned the wheels full lock to the left, the centre passenger side just rubs the underside of the starter motor hence the question if it should be centred.

Is the bushing the right way around?
