I'm attempting to replace my idiot light oil pressure sender with a sender for a real gauge. It currently mounts right on the block. I'm going to have to get one of those extensions to mount the new sender, but...

With the A/C and PS in the way, I can barely see it. No socket I have fits seems to fit on it. I've tried up to 15/16. Anybody know what size socket it takes?

They are made that way to keep the crimped seal from being damaged as it is installed. Too much pressure on the wrench and it will leak, with all those facets on the sender the load is spread out more.
