Hello VMF, hoping someone with an auto 64-66 might be able to help me out - in the process of installing a new master cylinder with adjustable rod, and I didn't have the sense to measure the height of the brake pedal before so I could use as a baseline reference.

Could someone help me out with either a measurement for:

-floor to bottom of pedal or
-firewall to top edge of pedal

so I can start there and adjust to perfection? Thank you!

Start with your Ford Shop manual. Page 2-40. You do have one don’t you?

Pedal Travel. 6.50“ for Manual brakes.

In 68 they gave more help in the Shop Manual.

The pedal is different so pedal travel is different, but the height should be very close to the same.

I thought someone would have measured by now. If no one has done so by tomorrow, I'll check mine. I kind of wonder if the 3 are the same...
