have a set of 65 289 heads casting #C5AE they have screw in
studs double springs bronze guides what would they be worth?

Or above the "289" cast into the head does it have any dots? fd

i dont think they are cupped and only one dot above 289

cups are a sign of HiPo heads. They dont perform any better than 2V/4V heads, but are important for 289HiPo restorers to have. If they dont have cups, then my guess is they are standard heads, value ~ 40-50. A HiPo expert would have to chime in with the going rate on HiPo heads.

if they'er hipo there will be 19,20,or21 on the bolt boss where the assesory hard ware bolt on like the alt bracket this is on the end and seen near the edge of the valve cover they are worth 400 + depending on date code. jim
