Hello. A '66 convertible that I am looking at has a leaking top cylinder. How difficult is it to fix and how much money? Tallyho.

New rams cost $120 but the real kicker is that they should both be replaced because if you only do 1 then the top will go up and down unevenly. I guess they grow tired after a while.

I temporarily unbolted the rams from the top so I'm doing it manually for now. Actually by doing this I found a few places where the top movement isn't as smooth as it should be so I have something else to fix.
