Anyone know where to get a reproduction Autolite Alternator without paying $150 through AMK products? I have looked in many of the catalogs but just see generic alternators.

I am trying to do my '66 as correct as possible when it comes to the engine compartment.

Is your alternator bad? You can have it rebuilt, if you have one. If not, put an ad in the "Parts Wanted" for a core, and have it rebuilt....lots of people have them laying around. I have a couple of cores, myself. But, don't know for sure what they are for. Just run an ad, and put in the nimbers that you need...you should be able to have one rebuilt very cheap....
