My '65 seat tracks seemed a little loose. I took the seat out and removed the track for inspection. There appear to be 4 nylon spacers per rail that help align the track internally. I'm missing one of the spacers. This is what is causing the problem. Are these available? I'd hate to have to buy new tracks just because my spacer is gone.
thanks, Todd.

thanks for the info.... not really what I wanted to hear though! Are the new tracks of good quality? Would I be better off with some nice used ones?

Try the junk yard and ask for some 93 seat tracks. I used 93 buckets on my 66 convert and only had to modifiy the bottom bolt position to connect the seat to the floor. it took about an hour to redrill the track and install the new bolt. have the bols welded in place on the track before you put the seats in the car, that way they won't spin when you tighten them up
Good luck
