My 65 mustang was originally equipped with factory ac. It was removed, and I'm replacing most everything. My question concerns the evaporator. I hooked up the 2 wires from the evaporator. They plugged into the hot wire and the compressor clutch. After plugging them in,I couldn't get the blower motor to come on. Any ideas why not?? THANKS!!!

Probably a bad ground. Most of the units ground through the hang-down unit to the dash via metal-to-metal contact. It may require a separate wire be run to get a good ground. On most, you can pull the front off and put your voltmeter on the wires at the switch to check for power, and for continuity to determine proper ground.

Good Luck!
