I need to buy an clutch equalizer bar for my 65, it will have a 302 with a toploader, and there are two types of e-bars listed in the catalogs-- one that fits the Hipo motor and one that fits a normal 289/302. I am guess the Hipo special one is supposed to clear the exhaust manifolds better. Since my motor will have long tube tri-y headers on it, will I be better off with the Hipo equalizer bar for clearance issues?
Thanks for the help

The HP might work better, but you still might have a problem. Header problems often occur at the bottom of the lower arm, and that's the same point on both. Remember to order the HP engine pivot set with the HP equalizer, the standard one won't fit.
