I’ve been trying to find a video showing how to remove the quarter trim panel in a fastback... I’m worried about breaking the fiberglass. I want to replace the speakers that someone installed a few decades ago with something modern. Well, really I want to repair the panel to remove the speaker cutout and return it to stock... but that is going to have to wait until my other large projects are complete. Anyways, any suggestions on where to look to find how to get these things out??
You have to remove that 1" wide moulding that separates the top pieces from the bottom pieces. Then there are a couple of phillips screws in the panels. And then you have to remove the seat bottom and there are 2 or 3 1/4" bolts with 7/16" hex heads that secure the bottom of the panel to brackets that are welded to the floor.
