anyone put a GT rear valance on a non GT car? if so id like to hear your comments on it.

Piece of cake, just bolts right up. On a 65, your choice will be with or without back-up lights (I believe these were optional on 65's, standard on my 66). The GT valence is available both ways.

My '65 non GT garage shelf has a '65 GT rear valence panel - looks okay. When you do the conversion you might have to remove the brackets the rear bumperettes bolt onto.

i have the new one, but when i went to bolt it on, it sticks out about an inch on the bottom where it would butt up against the rear quarter panel. i did remove the rear bumper brackets. just that it sticks out too far.
