my 65 mustang has the motor mounts with the intermediate bracket.my question is do any other year frame mounts interchange so i can go with the newer style mounts.?also my 65 comet(i know not mustang} has the same.would anyone know if newer mustang mounts interchange with this also.spring is coming and i want to get one of my cars together soon.i just think the newer mounts look like a better design.thanks for any and all info. mark

66 mounts will fit a 65.

you can use 66-70 mounts on both cars, you need both sides though. the metal mount on the frame & the insulator mount on the engine.

if you need mounts, let me know. i have a few spare sets

I've been told that early Bronco mounts will also work in the '65/'66 V8 chassis. They evidently have bigger studs. I've not needed new mounts yet so I can't say for sure, but when the time comes, I'll explore that.
