Hey gang,

Kind of a dopey question, but...
I just ordered and received new front seatbelt bolts for my '65, "concours correct" from NPD. Anyway...there are 2 big metal washers and 4 nylon spacers in the package. Mine didn't have all of these on it when I removed the old ones.

I could see sandwiching the seatbelt bracket with the metal washers and small spacers...but the larger pacers have me baffled.

What are all these things for? What's the proper way to install? ::

Went through the same thing about a month ago. After fiddling around interminably I came to the conclusion that the large spacers go on the rocker side of the seat belt (there was no way they could fit on the tunnel side). As I recall, nylon spacer, belt, spacer, large spacer. On the tunnel side, nylon spacer, belt, nylon spacer.

I do recall at some point I still had some spacers left that I had no place to fit so I threw them away ::

I also could not find any references with good pictures or diagrams.

Good luck.

If you have time...no biggy, I won't be installing for a few weeks yet. I just got the parts from UPS and was thinking..."what's all this extra junk?" ::
