I have 2 sets of 2 bumper guards to install on the 66 coupe. One set is "long" and the other set is "short". Based on looking under the rear bumper of a 66 coupe I found in the parking lot of the dry cleaners (the owner was a little PO'd until I explailned what I was doing - haha). I think the short set goes in the rear. Is this correct? Any hints on how to bolt up the top mount? The bottom bolt is easy since it goes through the valance.

Got the new seals and floor pan plates installed, added soundproofing and an extra layer of carpet pad type reflective sound deadner and laid out the carpet. As seems to always be the case when you put in carpet padding, the fornt carpet does not lay down over the transmission tunnel. I'll try to figure something out later this week, but for now, there is a bout a 2 inch gap under the carpet.

It's starting to look like a car now. :)

There should be holes in the bottom of the tail light panel for the top bolts. At least that's where mine were until I removed the bumper guards.
