Concerning the extractor vents on a 65-66 fastback.

I'm wondering how to go about replacing the thin rubber gaskets (that the plastic sliding doors sit on) that wrap around the inside edges of the actual vent opening?

1. Can they be fabricated?
2. Can they be purchased aftermarket?

Any ideas?

Thanks!

Never seen them as aftermarket.

Have fabricated small "Fill In" sections using Black RTV Silicone.

If I was to fabricate something completely from scratch, I'd probably try some felt or rubber sealing strips like those used in household window sliders.

Repo's are not available. In fact no Air Extractor parts are reproduced so be careful. A while back I found a post here about your problem and one person put a split in some small rubber tube and glued it on. Do a search if you want to try to find more info.
