is there a good way to fix the fender extension that holds the headlight. its right at the corner where it bolts into the fender. im sure its probaly a common problem because i went to a junk yard, which used to be a mustang junk yard, and there was about 15 of them laying around, all BROKEN!! damn. i really dont wanna shell out over 100 bucks for it. can it be silver soldered¿ (if i spelled that right) thanx for the help.

Do you mean the headlight door, which bolts with 4 screws to the fender, or the bucket inside which holds the lamp? Which side do you need?

the right side, the bucket inside that holds the bulb, it extends out to hold the grill.

Try JB Weld available at most Auto Stores. It is a epoxy that hardens to form a weld. I haven't tried it on
you particular application but I have used it sucessfully on other items. Good Luck
