Yes, that's what it's for. Hole 25 in pictures below. I put a small hole in the center of that gromet and ran the wire through. But my car has a single speed wiper with only one wire going to the pump. I would like to see what Ford did.

So I talked to NPD. They checked the one I posted for me and it was the same size as the one I have.

How about the hole being for the manual choke cable used only on the 289 HIPO motors?

I thought that was hole 15. Above the hole for the AC hoses. But it says 6-cylinder manual choke. Was it used for both?
