After 11 years, I finally have to sell my car (have to make room for a Shelby I just bought). The car is currently on [censored], but I will consider any private offers as well.

Price: $8,000

1966 Mustang Coupe, 6-Cyl 200 cu, C4 automatic transmission, “Nightmist Blue” (dark blue metallic), original bench seat

I purchased this vehicle in 1992 from a farmer outside of Sioux Falls, SD. A complete restoration was completed in 1995. Over the last 11 years, many, many improvements, updates, and components have been replaced. The list below is an attempt to highlight some of them.

The car is in excellent condition and drives great – I hope the winner of this auction will enjoy it as much as I have. Serious bidders only.

* Approx. 9,000 miles on complete rebuild (new short block, rebuilt head, hardened valve seats, etc.)
* Electronic ignition (Duraspark II distributor, MSD ignition electronics, Accel plug wires, Flamethrower II coil)
* Weber 2 bbl carburetor (electric choke, K&N air filter)
* New: battery, fuel pump, radiator, water pump, and thermostat
* Cleaned gas tank
* Transmission serviced (there is still a small fluid leak, shifts perfectly)

* Completely new rear suspension (leaf springs, shocks, brake pads and drums, etc.)
* Completely new front suspension (ball joints, brake pads and drums, etc.)

* See pictures on [censored] – this car is gorgeous
* Body work and paint is 8 years old (straight lines, no rust)
* Door ding on right rear quarter panel
* Very tip of hood is slightly pushed down
* Minor scratches and chips from being driven
* New: front/rear bumpers, turn signal, and tail light assemblies

* See pictures on [censored] – interior is completely restored
* New: carpet (foam and sound deadening pads), dash pad, gauge cluster, shifter assembly, door panels, door and window handles, kick panels, etc.)
* Original bench seat
* Original head liner is in good shape
* Crack in windshield
* Seats have been completely re-stuffed and upholstered
