So, my car originally had some hacked together mess of an exhaust system that rubbed on everything. Visited our local muffler guy and he said to just bring the car down when I was ready and he'd build my full exhaust for me.
He said to go ahead and pickout what mufflers I wanted and bring them with me.

He knocked out a couple shorty header pipes for me last week so I could get the 331 stroker fired up with the Holley sniper. That happened today, so I'm pretty stoked.

Anyhow, what's the proper configuration of the inlet/outlets on a dual exhaust mufflers. The old hacked together mufflers had offset inlet offset outlet. Is that correct? Im just going to go over the axle and dump under the rear valance.

Mine is offset inlet with center outlet. Mine is a convertible so I know the Coupes and Fastbacks have more room since no Convertible brace so they may have different muffler configurations.
