Anyone out there have online pics of an original or concourse '66 V8 Engine
compartment? Just want to know how original mine is right now, and what
detail parts I might want to replace with correct.

Like What color should the heater hoses be? Mine are a pinkish red with white
lettering. or the decals and positions. Stuff like that.

Thanks

not exactly what your after, but at least it's a start. Should be said that the Mannel book can help for components. Sorry I cannot be more help with pictures of mine, but I just finished switching from stock (no pics...duh) to resto-mod. If your interested, search "reassembly". Good luck.

I would look through any Mustang Monthly magazines that are older that 3 or 4 years old. They used to never put any restomods in that magazine. They've kind of loosened up in recent years and have discovered that original is great but sometimes the owner has their own idea of "perfect". I also have one Restoration book that has a lot of original engine pictures - I'll check and see what 66 V8 pics it has. I know there is an example of an A, a C & a K but they might be 65's.
