I am installing a '66 evaporator in a late'65 body shell (Why is a very long story). It looks like the knockout in the fire wall is in the same location as the '66. Is there any difference in the evaporators other than the color of the front panel and the air intake setup?

The stuff under the hood is a Classic Auto Air daily driver system with a Sanden. The hoses were ordered to connect to the '66 evaporator and to use with 134a.

Any input and advice is appreciated.

On the 65 Evaporator the hoses connect at the driver's feet and the 66 it connects in the middle. The 66 unit is alittle smaller in comparision with the 65 unit and some of the internals are different. Operationally, well I'm not sure but I would imagine it should be pretty close. The connections at the Evaporator should be flange type fittings. HTH.
