Are there any ideas/theories regarding installing 68 seatbelts (over-shoulder) in a 67 coupe that has only lapbelts. I.E.: available kits, is it feasible? I've got two teenagers to drive this thing eventually and I'd feel better with up-graded belts. Thanks

I'm using a set of '74Capri (European) seat belts in the Vert. Perfect fit. Try this... http://www.julianos.com/retract_3point.html Several people have used them. They're supposed to bolt right to the old sholder strap hole.

You may also try Andover www.andoauto.com for seat belts. They have a large selection.

I am putting these in my '66 coupe right now and should be finished tomorrow. I had them all in, but one of the weld nuts came off the backing plate (home made). I'll have pics mid-next week when they get back from the developer.

Now I have to cut out some metal to get the backing plate out and fix the problem. This will take longer than the installation the first time.

A good place to start looking is always Tom Schmidt's links to Mustang sites http://links.vintage-mustang.com/ I just scrolled down the left side to "Mustang FAQ's and How-tos" and found 2 sites right away.

and

I haven't made a pretty page for them yet, but there are some pics of my interior on my page.
