What was the correct color for a 67 C4 transmission? I assumed it was Ford blue but I am not sure.

The C4 wasn't painted. So the correct color is "aluminum" gray......

They were aluminum. When I restored my 65, I painted it Krylon Dull Aluminum.

It shouldn't be painted at all. Some tranny rebuilders will paint a tranny as a matter of course, most only if you ask them too. I've seen blue, orange, black and silver. I always thought cast aluminum looked fine without paint. If you just want to paint it, go for it.
