Our project mustang is always turning left. The turn signal cam has apparently broken. Turns right and cancels fine though. Since I haven’t taken it apart yet I was curious do I need the hundred dollar cam with the wiring harness? Or there appears to be a repair piece that just fixes the broken finger. If the repair piece has limited success, I will just order the whole cam. I was just looking for some guidance before I tear it down so it is not sitting for a week with the steering wheel apart.

I just replaced my whole steering wheel harness on my 1967. I saw videos on replacing just the cam, but it didn't look that promising. If the plastic strips with the sheet metal screw taking the cam off and on, you are screwed.
