On a 67 fastback was the ID number stamped on the
left front apron on top, Im looking at one with a title problem.
i don't recall the ID being there on other ones
also is there any place else the ID # may be. data plate on the door is missing

The answer is yes.
68 was pass. side windshield dash, 69 and later was driver's side windshiels dash..

Hi, look on the inner fender drivers side near hood hinge there should be a tag there under a screw. John

You will find that 67's have them on both sides (in front of the shock towers ) one exposed one covered as well as one hidden behind the shock tower.

The small metal plate held with a screw was not used at all plants in 67
