We are assembling our roof rails now and before we get too far I wanted to make sure these gaps look normal.
- We installed the drip rail molding 1st
- Added the stainless roof rail sash, tucking the outward edge behind the drip rail when there was enough room
- Started to install the weatherstrip retainer and noticed a gap between it and the windlace (see photo) Is this gap normal? We are trying to use factory holes but it doesn't seem most line up with the repro trim and we will have to drill new ones. Please share a photo of how yours looks.
- If this is normal - do we just leave the body color showing through in the gap or is this usually painted a different color?
