Need help. I am trying to add the trunk light to my 67 and I have the correct light with wiring male end. From what I could see in the wiring diagram it shows it connecting to a wire in the rear wiring harness on the drivers side about midway on the interior quarter panels.. It's not there... I am guessing it is about a 6-8 foot wire with a female end to connect to the light/wiring I have and plug into something hot like the door switch or something.. Obviously this is where I am stumped. Would really appreciate any help so I can locate one before I put the panels / carpet etc... back in..
Thanks..

Actually, for the 67 hood and trunk courtesty light option, the trunk light is fed by a single wire harness that follows the tail-light harness all the way up to the LH door jamb. This light is not activated by opening the doors as are the interior lights. The pigtail picks up the hot lead before it goes to the door jamb switch and the light is mercury activated.
