I'm starting the A/C restore project on my 67 GT. Does anyone rebuild the compressor, clutch or restore the hoses?

Can the evaporator coil and the condenser be vacuum tested and used?

These parts have been dis-assembled for years; however, they've been stored inside.

Or, just buy new and forget the old?

Thanks for the help.

Any of those can be cleaned, tested, reconditioned, and used. If they need more than simple cleaning and paint, have Classic Auto Air do them. Excellent work on clutches, for example. If you have a receiver/dryer lying around, don't waste your time on it, get a new one. The dessicant will be shot if it was not very carefully sealed.
