I live up here in homer Alaska end of the road. Mostly have classic trucks but have always loved mustangs so snatched this up when it came available
Got this wild hair and decided that a modern gt350 voodoo engine need to live in my 67 mustang
Good idea? bad idea? Going to do it any ways.
I Commercial fish up here in Alaska so I have a fair amount of time off in the winters to do this project
67 is a coupe with straight 6 with 3 speed manual. It is super solid no rot. actually drove it a lot the last few summers. It’s Especially surprising how nice it is as I bought the car up here in Alaska View attachment 814450
the Donor car is a 2019 Shelby gt350 with the gen2 5.2 voodoo but even with only 4495 miles it’s not in that good of shape. View attachment 814451
still making up my mind on what suspension to go with possibly heidt front and rear. HaveIng trouble finding someone to build wiring harness. Would like to us the donor transmission but still need to figure out how it will fit. possible do the coupe to fast back conversion. Still in the planing and gathering stage but should be fun.
