I would like to replace the steering shaft on my 67(solid)fastback with a collapsible one from a 68, while I have it out. I am not finding any in th NPD, CJ Pony etc... catalog. What is a good source for this shaft, any other ideas or does anybody have one they would like to part with.

Thanks.

You will have replace both the steering box and the steering column. Get both items from a 68. You will also have to change the wiring in the 68 column to work in your 67. Others will probably add things that I have forgotten as well.

The steering wheel from your 67 is different
from 68 and you may need a 68 brake pedal.
I sent you a PT with more info.
