Although not correct for a 68, it will fit. You will need to modify your existing tail light panel by drilling holes in it to accomodate the studs that mount the ribbed panels. Also, this panel I believe was only used in conjunction with the flip-down gas cap. I'm sure to be corrected by another member if I am wrong. It makes a nice addition besides...

Should, and like the previous post said, you'll have to add a few holes. In my opinion, those ribbed panels look really cool. I think they trap moisture though, so prep the tailight panel really well if you can.

Since the rear finned panels were only optional with the exterior decor group, then yes, you are correct, a flip open gas cap would be used with the panels.

Yes the 67 panels will fit the 68. Please remember that there is a coupe/convertible model and a fastback one
