The vent window in my 67 is missing it's latch. I see that replacement latches are available in the after market.

How do these mount? Does the vent window need to be removed from the door in order to replace the latch?

Thanks.

I think your best bet is to seek out a bone yard replacement of repro......

If the stud is missing you'll need more than the latch. Try to find an entire window with glass or a complete frame. Check eBay.

Thanks. I'll have to take a closer look at what I have. Makes sense that there's a stud that should be there to mount the latch with a roll pin - there's no stud on mine. The listing on ebay is more pitted than what I might look for. It's looking like I'll need to change out the entire frame then.

Interesting. Thanks. I'll have to see if they have them for '67.

Makes me wonder if the old bracket is inside the vent window somewhere?
