Do I need a special tool to remove the chrome trim around my 67 vert windshield? If so where could I get one. PO put alot of sealant around the bottom in corners of windshield and I would like to replace the seal. I would entertain tips on replacing the seal also.

This was discussed in detail about a month ago. Try your hand at a search and see if you can find it. If you need specific help, PM me...I just R&R mine to fix a leak.

No, you do not need a special tool, you can use a thin small screw driver to get to the clips.

No special tools, just patience, a phillips screw driver and a 3/8s deep socket. The upper panels are held down by nuts accessed after removal of the underside header panel. The side trim is attached with phillips screws under the weatherstrip. Just don't force any removal. Removing the a pilar weatherstrip without damaging it is likely the biggest challenge.
